GlucoWise Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how GlucoWise handles information when you use the Android app. It applies only to GlucoWise and not to Health Connect, Google Drive, Google Play, Google Mobile Ads, or any third-party app you choose to share data with.

GlucoWise is a logging and review tool. It is not a glucose meter, continuous glucose monitor, medical device, diagnosis tool, or emergency service.

• Blood glucose readings you manually enter, including value, unit, meal timing, timestamp, status, and optional notes.
• Blood glucose records imported from Health Connect after you grant permission.
• App settings, such as preferred unit, target glucose range, and Health Connect auto-sync preference.
• Google account email and Google Drive backup status when you connect Google Drive for Premium backup.
• Premium subscription status returned by Google Play Billing.
• Advertising-related signals may be processed by Google Mobile Ads when ads are enabled for non-premium users.

GlucoWise stores glucose readings and settings locally on your device using Android app storage. Gagasoft does not operate a server that receives your glucose log from this app.

If you connect Health Connect, GlucoWise reads and writes blood glucose records only after Android permission is granted. You can revoke Health Connect permission in Android settings.

If you connect Google Drive, GlucoWise uses the Google Drive app data folder to store a private backup file containing your glucose readings and app settings. This backup is available only to GlucoWise through the Google account you selected.

Google Drive backup is a Premium feature. You can disconnect Google Drive in the app settings, and you can also manage Google account access from your Google account settings.

When you choose CSV report sharing, GlucoWise creates a temporary CSV file on your device and opens the Android share sheet. The report is sent only to the app or contact you select.

Third-party apps that receive a report handle that file according to their own terms and privacy policies.

GlucoWise Premium is sold through Google Play Billing. Google Play processes payment information, subscription renewals, cancellations, and refunds. Gagasoft receives subscription status from Google Play but does not receive your full payment card details.

Premium currently unlocks ad removal, CSV doctor report sharing, Google Drive backup, and glucose reminders inside GlucoWise.

• Health Connect blood glucose read/write: used to import existing blood glucose records and write manual readings you choose to sync.
• Google account and Drive app data access: used only when you connect Google Drive backup.
• Network access: used for Google Drive backup, Google Play Billing, public policy links, crash/analytics services, and ads when enabled.
• File provider access: used temporarily when you share a CSV report through Android's share sheet.

• You can delete individual glucose records inside the app.
• You can change target ranges and preferred unit in settings.
• You can connect or disconnect Google Drive backup in the app settings.
• You can disconnect or revoke Health Connect permissions in Android settings.
• You can manage or cancel Premium subscriptions in Google Play.

We may update this policy to reflect product, legal, or platform changes. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
