1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how CleanSpace handles information when you use the CleanSpace Android app. CleanSpace is a photo and video cleanup app that helps you review duplicate photos, similar photos, screenshots, burst photos, large media files, and compressible videos.
This policy applies only to CleanSpace. It does not apply to Google Play, Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, device manufacturers, operating system providers, or any third-party service that has its own privacy terms.
3. Local media processing
CleanSpace is designed so photo and video review happens on your device. The app does not upload your photos, videos, generated thumbnails, local similarity hashes, deletion selections, or compressed video content to a Gagasoft server.
When you choose to delete media, Android may ask you to confirm deletion through the system permission flow. When you compress a video, CleanSpace creates a smaller copy on your device. The original and compressed files remain under your control through Android storage and gallery apps.
CleanSpace is a cleanup and storage review tool. It is not an antivirus app, device booster, battery optimizer, or operating system repair tool.
4. Permissions
CleanSpace requests permissions only for app functionality:
- Photos and videos: used to scan, compare, display, delete, and compress local media after you grant access.
- Selected media access: on supported Android versions, used when you choose limited access to specific photos or videos.
- Internet and network state: used for ads, consent forms, Firebase analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Billing, Google Play In-App Review, and policy links.
You can revoke media access in Android settings. Some cleanup features will not work without access to the relevant photos or videos.
6. Third-party services
CleanSpace uses third-party SDKs and platform services. These providers may process information under their own privacy policies and terms.
Firebase Analytics
Used to measure app events such as scan starts, scan results, cleanup completion, video compression results, and premium screen openings. CleanSpace does not intentionally include photo or video content, media file names, or full media paths in analytics events.
Firebase Crashlytics
Used to collect crash reports and diagnostics so we can identify and fix stability issues. Crash reports may include device state, app version, operating system information, stack traces, and app diagnostics.
Google Mobile Ads and Google User Messaging Platform
Used to display ads and manage privacy choices for ads and analytics where required. Google Mobile Ads may process information such as IP address, user product interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Google Play Billing and Google Play In-App Review
Used to manage premium subscriptions and request optional app reviews through official Google Play flows. Payment details and review submission flows are handled by Google Play.
7. Sharing
Gagasoft does not sell your personal and sensitive user data. CleanSpace does not share your photos or videos with Gagasoft servers.
Information may be processed by the third-party services listed above to provide analytics, crash reporting, ads, consent management, billing, reviews, security, fraud prevention, and platform functionality. We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
8. Retention and deletion
- Local media: your original photos and videos remain on your device unless you delete them through CleanSpace or another app.
- Compressed videos: compressed copies remain on your device until you delete them.
- Local app settings: free usage counters, preferences, and review prompt state remain on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the app.
- Analytics, crash, ads, billing, and review data: retained by the relevant third-party providers according to their policies and your privacy choices.
9. Security
CleanSpace relies on Android platform controls for local media permissions and storage. Third-party SDK network transmissions use modern transport security where supported by the provider. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to limit app access and data processing to the functionality described in this policy.
10. Your choices
- Revoke photo and video permissions in Android settings.
- Delete selected media, compressed copies, or app data from your device.
- Use the privacy options entry point in the app when Google privacy choices are available in your region.
- Manage ad personalization and reset or delete your advertising ID in Android or Google settings where available.
- Cancel or manage subscriptions through Google Play.
- Contact us to ask privacy questions or request help with data rights that apply in your region.
11. Children's privacy
CleanSpace is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for use as a child-directed service. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us so we can review the request.
12. International processing
Third-party service providers may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Their processing is governed by their own privacy terms and applicable transfer mechanisms. By using CleanSpace, you understand that app-related diagnostics, analytics, advertising, billing, and review data may be processed outside your region where permitted by law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to CleanSpace, third-party services, platform requirements, or legal obligations. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
